Hard working as she is, with a very high GPA at the end of high school, she could go almost anywhere she wanted and finally moved to LA to attend UCLA and studied business while working short shifts as a hotel receptionist despite having a big bank account already. Getting to a new school was hard and she was teased for her bright red hair and strange accent but she held her head high and made some friends out of it while she made the bullies, and fake friends taking advantage of her for her money, pay big time. her father wanted something a little more off, by the ocean, so they settled in king’s head harbor and she jumped into high school, hoped all her dreams would come true. Two years later the duo moved rhode island even though teenager maeve wanted to go directly to new york or los angeles. he could have easily said no and made maeve a grumpy teenager for a week but maeve was spoiled and willem de jaeger said sure kid. When she was 12 she told her father she wanted to move to america after hearing a lot about it and reading that it was the land of opportunities. she went horse riding for a while and did some theater, dance, archery and took violin classes. he loved her nonetheless though and spoiled the shit out of her with whatever she wanted clothes, shoes, vacations, hobbies. she still enjoys it but her dad kind of sucked the fun out of most of it. It’s also her middle name because her dad did want a son so he kind of treated her as such putting her on sports teams, mainly soccer. maeve’s middle name roan is a boy’s name but means “little redhead” and that’s exactly what she looked like when she popped out of the womb.
